Our Story

At four years old, I was diagnosed with stage four non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After fighting my way to remission by the age of 8, I decided to start my own landscape company. It wasn’t Evergreen yet — just my first step into the world of landscaping. For about five years, I built my skills in the field before life took me in different directions, starting other businesses and even stepping away from landscaping for a time.

But eventually, I found my way back. Deep down, I always knew this was what I loved. That’s when it finally clicked: the very thing that had given me cancer was likely the chemicals used in our yard and our food. That realization is what led me to start Evergreen. And looking back, it feels like getting cancer was part of God’s plan all along — to give me the purpose I now carry every day.

Today, I wake up with the mission to provide natural, green, weed-free yards at an affordable price for anyone who wants a beautiful lawn. Best of all, I don't have to worry that the products I use could make people sick or worse. I know that the families we serve can enjoy their yards freely, safely, and without a second thought.
